Career Club

4-H gives youth opportunities to explore a variety of interests through projects and by shadowing adults at work, learning about post-secondary education required for specific careers, and exploring how to start your own business. There is a strong connection between a career choice, the education required, the average salary for that career and the possible lifestyle the salary will support.

4-H Career Club aims to teach youth skills that will lead to an employable future. Good employees help build great communities. 4-H Career Club develops 21st Century Skills, providing career exploration opportunities. Youth meet each month to complete resumes, mock job interviews, develop soft skills, tour colleges / universities, and meet with professionals in their fields of interest. Applications are available in August of each year.
