Event Description
You are invited to attend our Livestock Parasite Management Workshop on April 3rd at 6:00 PM CT in the Farmer’s Market Educational Facility. Our special guest will be parasitologist, Dr. Gil Myers.
The first six 4-H members who RSVP will have the opportunity to bring a fresh fecal sample from their animal (sheep, goat, cattle, or equine) for the testing procedure! This will be a hands-on activity for 4-H members who will learn how to conduct their own fecal egg count readings.
All are invited to come and learn the importance of parasite management and herd health. 4-H Livestock Club members will receive livestock educational hours.
